Welcome to my new blog, Fat Girl In A Little Coat! You may know me from my other blog Review Retreat {www.reviewretreat.com}. First let me tell you a little bit about me....
I began Review Retreat several months ago. The purpose of that blog is to share product reviews and giveaways with my readers. Lately, I have been straying off into personal topics. I'm a completely unorganized, organized person. What I really mean is, I am completely unorganized but I like to keep certain things in order. To help make Review Retreat easier to navigate, I want to stay true to the Review/Giveaway theme. I have created Fat Girl in A Little Coat to share more of "me".
Why the title Fat Girl In A Little Coat? Well, If you were a Chris Farley or David Spade fan, you remember the movie Tommy Boy. My favorite scene is when Chris puts on Davids coat and sings "fat guy in a little coat". Not only that, but I gained 90lbs during my pregnancy. I know you are probably saying, "oh it's okay, you just had a baby. You will lose it". My son is actually almost 2 and I am holding on to every ounce of this fat. I'm trying to lose weight and accept the fact that I am fat now but have the ability to change it. Well, that's not going over too well. I'm sure I'm destined to be fat forever. And while I don't wear a little coat, many of my clothes are too small for me now. Hey, it is what it is.
So, grab a cup of coffee and sit back. It's going to be a bumpy ride. Welcome to Fat Girl In A Little Coat!

Great title! I love it! Tommy Boy is one of my favorite movies ever! The "fat guy in a little coat" is the best scene in the whole movie! I get to be the first follower via Google, woohoo!
